Jack and Lyn met through a Transfer Students to Western Washington University group on Facebook at the very beginning of the pandemic- literally March 2020. We became best friends immediately.
After finally meeting in person in May, Jack seemingly fell for Lyn quickly and almost immediately asked to date her. They went on one date on May 30, 2020. Following this peculiar date, we quickly reprioritized our relationship towards becoming roommates and moved on from the very short-lived relationship.

Jack and Lyn moved to one of the most COVID-conscious college towns during the thick of the pandemic. We learned everything about each other and taught each other a lot about ourselves.
They continued to be best friends as they both talked big moves “independently”. That being said, it became more and more obvious to everybody except us that we were meant to be together.

In May 2022, in their third apartment, Lyn confessed to Jack that she had feelings for him again. Once again, it just wasn’t the time to try to date.
Following this, Jack and Lyn officially moved to separate abodes in August. This lasted three months.

Afterward, immediately they went back to spending every day together. Our official second date (and first date in three years) was on January 20th, 2023. We spent the evening at an Olive Garden, where Jack had to officially convince Lyn that we were dating.
That was forever for Lyn & Jack. We were engaged on December 1st, 2023 in New York City amongst our family. We are forever thankful for everyone helping so much with it.
The rest is history.
